Beach Time - "One Visit and You're Hooked.." :)

This week, I've decided to tell you about my favourite place in the whole world...the beach! Now I know, you're probably thinking there is thousands of beaches around the world so I can't really say it's my one favourite place.
But I can. Do you ever get stressed and you have that place that you always go to, just for a few hours, to get away from something, or just to get some fresh air? For some people, they simply go for a walk, others just take a nice long bath or shower, but for me, it's the beach. I absolutely adore the beach. It is so relaxing, and it is a great place to go, take a few pictures (I love taking pictures and like to think of myself as some what of an amateur photographer), or just go for a walk and clear your mind.
You guys are probably thinking, yes the beach is great on a nice day and because we live in Ireland, we don't get too many of those. However, have you ever been to the beach on a rainy day, or even better, on a windy day? You should, it's amazing. Seeing the waves crash onto the sand and the cliffs, and this makes for some great photo opportunities :) I owe this knowledge to my Dad who insisted on taking us to the beach and to Hook Head in Co.Wexford almost every Sunday when we were little. So when I want to get away from the stresses of everyday life, this is where you're sure to find me :)

Hook Head is absolutely gorgeous (I'm in college at the minute but as soon as I get home this evening, I'll put up some pictures I took at Hook Head, and Duncannon Beach. As they say..a picture speaks a thousand words, and when you see these, you'll get what this whole post is about) .

There has also been some whale sightings around Hook Head in the last month or so, and there is a lighthouse there that you can take a look around.
Their websites are; http://www.hookheritage.ie and www.hooktourism.com.

As their slogan goes: "One visit and You're Hooked...." Perfect saying to end my post with and I promise, the pictures will be up later today :)

Talk Soon,
MS
