Hey Guys,
Well, the festive season is well under way, and this week I decided to visit somewhere that is a little bit chilly. Kilkenny-on-ice is the south east's biggest indoor ice rink, and it's here until the 9th of January!
You get 50 minutes on the ice and while you have a skate and try not to take a tumble, there is some chart music and some festive music being played. If you're tired from all that skating or want to pass some time while the kids enjoy the ice, there is an "ice cafe" serving tea, coffee, hot chocolate and some light snacks.
Kilkenny on ice is well worth the visit and I suggest getting a group of friends and family to go, so you can all enjoy the experience. If you are worried about safety on the ice, don't be. There is a trained first aid person there at all times, helmets are available but not necesary and all skating is supervised by trained marshals.
For prices, opening times etc. visit http://www.kilkennyonice.com/.
We had BRRRRRilliant time and we managed not to fall, do you think you could? Go on, get your skates on! :)
Oh, and Happy Christmas! :)

Chriatmas shopping experience in Dundrum Town Centre...
Hi guys,
This week we headed off to Dundrum Town Centre to do our Christmas shopping. This is a fantastic shopping complex and offers you the ultimate shopping experience. It has every clothes shop you could want, as well as House of Fraser and the amazing Hamley's toy store. You are sure to find everything you need under the one roof if you visit Dundrum Town Centre.
We went up early in the day and visited Dundrum on Ice in Pembroke Square. Prices are from €14.50 for adults, €13.50 for a child and €45 for a family.
For families looking for the ultimate Christmas experience there is also Santa’s Steam Train which goes down the Mall and onto Town Square over the festive period! The Steam Train departs regularly throughout the day from Level 1, outside House of Fraser.
You can visit Santa in the Centre and costs just €10, and includes a photo and a special gift.
